Custom Trainer Skate BuildServices
This is for any non-standard rollerskate boot - trainers, shoes, etc, that need aluminium insoles for re-enforcement. If you have a standard rollerskate boot or an ice boot, have a look at our other services.
Email for Expert Advice: Got specific mounting needs or need advice before purcahsing? Drop us an email at [email protected]. We highly recommend you get in touch with us first before purchasing this so we can discuss the shoes and components and let you know how to get the shoes to us.
Mounting Availability: Unfortunately, we can't offer same-day mounting right now due to our busy schedule. Wait time for all mounting jobs is between 1-2 weeks.
How to Bring or Send Your Shoes and/or Plates:
You can either bring your plates into the shop or post them to us - whichever suits you best!
What's Included:
All skate build services come with a mounting kit (nuts n' bolts for fixing plates). Trainer builds include an aluminum insole, adding integrity to the sole. If you are doing a re-mount using insoles you already have, whether we can use it or not will depend on where the mounting holes are. We will likely also need to fill the old holes in your trainers. DOES NOT INCLUDE ANY COMPONENTS - YOU WILL NEED TO CHOOSE THESE.
Custom Mounting - Specialized for Your Unique Setup:
If your setup is not a standard skate boot with a skate plate (e.g., mounting to trainers/shoes), there's a higher charge. This is because there are often weird eccentricities with trainers - coz guess what - they are not made for drilling a rollerskate plate into!
Precision Matters - Your Skates, Your Way!
Specific Preferences? Let Us Know:
We pay close attention to mounting plates to boots, considering factors like size and shape. If you have specific preferences, inform us before mounting.
Re-Mounts and Potential Gluing:
Re-mounts might involve gluing old holes. While it might not look perfect, rest assured it won't affect performance or boot longevity.
Trainer Mounts - Not Always a Perfect Art!
Symmetry vs. Nature of Trainers:
Trainer mounts might not achieve perfect symmetry due to the nature of some trainers. Perfection may not be 100%, but you should feel symmetry when you skate.
No Guarantees for Trainers:
Trainers aren't built for rollerskating, so we can't guarantee structural integrity or mount longevity. Manufacturer warranties for plates and other components will be void for non-standard use.
Re-Mounting Old Skates Warning:
Re-mounting plates on very old, used, or 'vintage' skates might encounter issues like rusty bolts or glued soles. Just a heads up!
If any boots require removing rivets, that falls under the 'custom mount - ice conversion (includes blade removal)' product.
Please note: While we are always careful, we cannot guarantee plate mounting without the plates being marked.
By purchasing this product, you are agreeing to these T's and C's.
